KAJIAN KOEFISIEN REMBESAN SALURAN IRIGASI PADA TANAH ALUVIAL DALAM SKALA LABORATORIUM (Review of Seepage Coefficient of Irrigation Channel on Aluvial Soil at Laboratory Scale)

Abstract


ABSTRACT

Seepage is one of the causes of lost of water in irrigation channel. It is difficult to measure the seepage directly on the field. Therefore there should be a model or equation to determine the channel seepage that in the first stage through laboratory scale. This research was done to analyze the seepage coefficient of irrigation channel on Aluvial soil through laboratory scale. The water balance component which was measured were evaporation, percolation and the seepage through channel wall. The research showed that the coefficient of seepage was about 1,39 to 1,78  mm/day. The evaporation value was 4 mm/day and the channel percolation was 17,92 mm/day.

ABSTRAK

 

Rembesan merupakan salah satu penyebab kehilangan air dalam saluran irigasi. Dilapangan sulit untuk mengukur rembesan secara langsung. Untuk itu perlu adanya model atau persamaan untuk menentukan rembesan pada saluran yang pada tahap awal perlu pengujian di laboratorium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai koefisien rembesan saluran irigasi pada tanah aluvial dalam skala laboratorium. Komponen keseimbangan air yang diukur adalah evaporasi, perkolasi dan rembesan pada dinding saluran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien rembesan pada dinding saluran berkisar antara 1,39w sampai 1,78 mm/hari. Nilai evaporasi adalah 4 mm/hari dan nilai perkolasi pada saluran yaitu 17,92 mm/hari.
